On November 7, 2012 a dark cloud hung over my soul.
Something I had dedicated hours - and years - to did not come to fruition.
My heart literally hurt. I was mourning the loss of something I desired with my entire heart.
To express my displeasure in what happened, I opted to wear black for 30 days {opposed to walking around all depressed for xx amount of days}.
And, naturally, I took photo documentation of it all. :)
So, here it is. My Mourning for Mitt: 30 Days of Black.
Enjoy. :)
I actually enjoyed being able to make a political statement simply by the color of clothing I was wearing. And thanks to FB and this blog, most people in my life {who would see my clothing day-to-day} knew why.
But I must admit, it was quite enjoyable to wear other, brighter, HAPPIER colors after the 30 days.
After my stripes and then black, I cannot help but wonder what clothing challenges 2013 has in store for me. ;)
Any ideas?
P.S. If you haven't read my last post, please do. It is extremely important to me. Thanks a million! :)

I love how you still wore pink nearly every day. ;)
I think you should do a whole year wearing a color.
